With a comprehensive portfolio
of modular machines, peripheral equipment and a range of folder-gluers,
Bobst Group has been able to meet its customers' production requirements
from the simplest to the most complex of jobs. And the recent
addition in the product list, the Mini lock bottom device, has
added to the advantage.
The Mini lock bottom device is used in pharmaceutical packaging
to produce small size of lock bottom boxes. Earlier, the smallest
crash lock bottom boxes made on a machine used to be of the maximum
open width of 146 mm (side panels more than 30 mm). Smaller boxes
had to be produced manually which involved lots of labour and
slow production rate.
However, with the Mini lock bottom device, a customer can produce
the smallest lock bottom box of width 116 mm - open blank (side
panel up to 25 mm), with speed up to 35,000 boxes per hour. This
device has helped avoid the manual labour involved in gluing.
It has improved the rate of production, eventually improving the
quality.
Adding flexibility to the production process, this device can
be retrofitted on models like Fuego/ Mistral/ Visionfold and Expertfold.
